Anytime I've had issues, they almost hold my hand through the whole process, my husband passed a year and a 1/2 ago and he took care of all the bills and stuff. "I recently switched all my vehicles, homeowners, and boat insurance to State Farm through agent Mark Drawe, expecting a smooth and transparent process. The initial quote and setup seemed straightforward, and I was happy to consolidate everything under one company.
However, several weeks after the policies were active, State Farm suddenly required a multi-thousand dollar marine survey/inspection on my boat to maintain coverage. This was never mentioned during the quoting process, policy purchase, or any discussions with Mark Drawe. Had this significant additional cost and requirement been disclosed upfront, I never would have switched providers—I would have stayed where I was or shopped elsewhere that didn’t impose surprise conditions.
Now I’m forced to start the entire shopping and switching process over again, wasting time and effort because of this undisclosed requirement. Very disappointing lack of transparency from the agent and the company. I expected better communication and honesty when entrusting them with all my major insurance needs.
I do not recommend this agent or making a major switch to State Farm without getting every possible condition in writing first"
